The fall meeting of the JRCNMT was held October 21–22, 2016, in Oklahoma City, OK. During this meeting, the board of directors accepted 1 request for voluntary withdrawal of accreditation and approved 4 substantive change requests from programs.

ACCREDITATION ACTIONS

Initial accreditation was granted to the following nuclear medicine technology programs:

Loma Linda University (CA), awarded through 2019
Manhattan College (NY), awarded through 2018

Continued accreditation was granted to the following nuclear medicine technology programs:

Baptist Health College Little Rock (AR), awarded through 2023
Santa Fe College (FL), awarded through 2023
Armstrong State University (GA), awarded through 2021
Allen College (IA), awarded through 2023
University of Kansas Medical Center (KS), awarded through 2023
Frederick Community College (MD), awarded through 2018
Midlands Technical College (SC), awarded through 2023
Chattanooga State Community College (TN), awarded through 2023
Del Mar College (TX), awarded through 2018
Houston Community College (TX), awarded through 2023
Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital (WI), awarded through 2017

Prince George’s Community College (MD), probation rescinded and accreditation awarded through 2018

Southeast Technical Institute (SD), awarded through 2022

The committee will review 8 nuclear medicine technology programs seeking initial or continued accreditation in 2017. Written third-party testimony regarding any nuclear medicine technology program undergoing review may be submitted to the JRCNMT for consideration. Persons desiring to present third-party oral testimony at a board meeting must submit a written request to do so. Third-party testimony, written and oral, must be limited to compliance of the educational program with the Accreditation Standards for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Education. Such testimony must be received at the JRCNMT office no later than April 1, 2017.

The following programs are undergoing review in 2017:
