The spring meeting of the JRCNMT was held April 13–14, 2012, in Atlanta, GA. During this meeting, the board of directors affirmed 1 request for voluntary withdrawal of accreditation due to program closure. Substantive changes from 2 programs were also approved.

The committee is reviewing 15 nuclear medicine technology programs seeking continued accreditation during 2012. Written third-party testimony may be submitted to the JRCNMT regarding any nuclear medicine technology program undergoing review. Persons desiring to present third-party oral testimony at a board meeting must submit a written request. Third-party testimony, written and oral, must be limited to the educational program’s compliance with the Accreditation Standards for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Education.
