MEETINGS
The JRCNMT held its semiannual meeting October 10–11, 2003, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Board of Directors:
1) Approved personnel changes at 33 programs and 13 program changes,
2) Considered 2 follow-up reports, 5 midcycle reports, and 13 progress reports from accredited programs,
3) Granted recognition to 22 new affiliates,
4) Granted continued accreditation to:

5) Awarded initial accreditation to the Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, Orlando, FL.
The Review Committee will schedule site visits to 20 programs seeking continued accreditation and 2 programs seeking initial accreditation during 2004. A list of programs undergoing review in the year 2004 is appended at the end of this article. Written third party testimony may be submitted regarding any nuclear medicine technology program undergoing review. Persons desiring to present third-party oral testimony must submit a written request. Third-party testimony, written and oral, must be limited to the educational program’s compliance with the Essentials and Guidelines for an Accredited Educational Program for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
The spring meeting of the JRCNMT Board of Directors will be held April 16–17, 2004.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The JRCNMT bid farewell to several members completing their terms of service to the Board at the fall meeting. A special thank you was extended for the many years of service and commitment to quality education for nuclear medicine technologists. In his farewell remarks, Chairman Peter T. Kirchner, MD, noted that these individuals had provided a combined total of 66 years of service, a record that will be hard to surpass. Outgoing members were: William L. Asburn, MD (ACR); Elaine M.
