Abstract

This is the first in a series of four Continuing Education articles on imaging techniques. After studying this article, the reader should be able to: 1) understand the clinical importance, the procedures, and technical pitfalls of parathyroid imaging; and 2) discuss computer manipulations such as subtraction techniques.
