Abstract
This is the fourth and final CE article in the Radiopharmaceutical Series. After reading and studying this paper, the nuclear medicine technologist will be able to: (1) discuss principles of renal anatomy and physiology; and (2) compare and contrast various renal radiopharmaceuticals, including method of localization, primary usefulness, and associated pitfalls. Additionally, this article will familiarize technologists with research efforts to develop a Tc-99m tubular function agent.
