Abstract

A 58-old-man underwent a 18F-Fluorocholine (18 F-FCH) PET/CT for restaging of a prostate cancer with rising-PSA.18F-FCH showed no significant tracer uptake on the prostatectomy site or on pelvic nodes. An incidental and high focus of tracer uptake was observed on a left thyroid nodule of 26x23 mm. A diagnosis of benin tumour of the thyroid (oncocytic adenoma of thyroid) was done following left lobo-isthmectomy.
