Abstract

Cardiac involvement in sarcoidosis occurs in 20-30% of patients in pathology examinations and is associated with poor prognosis. 18F-FDG PET can detect the presence of Cardiac sarcoidosis, assesses disease activity, and monitors treatment response in patients with cardiac sarcoidosis.
