Primary splenic angiosarcoma. Case report and literature review

Abstract

Primary splenic angiosarcomas are rare neoplasms. The diagnosis can only be made at surgery. Splenectomy prior to rupture prolongs survival. An unusual case report is presented and the literature reviewed.
