In pancreatic cancer, Sister Mary Joseph nodule is a sign of advanced disease with an associated poor prognosis. 18F-FDG PET/MRI provides an imaging tool in the identification of Sister Mary Joseph nodule and helps to improve the staging of pancreatic cancer.
