AB  - Our experience with a new kit used for measuring serum triiodothyronine (T3) is reviewed. The method’s advantages include its simplicity, rapidity, relatively long shelf-life, the fact that it does not require expensive and elaborate laboratory equipment, and the small amount of radioactivity involved. The method has good specificity for T3 and its reproducibility is satisfactory. The results with this method compare favorably with those obtained by previously published assays.
