AB Radiation exposure to hospital personnel attending I-131 therapy patients was calculated relative to patient dose, distance, and time after administration. Routine or emergency contact with these patients would not exceed occupational maximum permissible doses for hands and whole body for attendance up to 30 min immediately after administration.
