AB  - The performance of two commercially available attenuator devices used for dose calibrator linearity testing are evaluated. Although both devices function adequately, the use of the manufacturers’ recommended instructions may result in test results that misrepresent the dose calibrator’s performance. Recommendations for proper use of the attenuator devices are presented as well as a step by step protocol.
