AB This is the third in a series of four continuing education articles related to the characteristics of the scintillation camera. Upon completion of this article, the reader should be able to: 1) understand the principles and the necessity of performance testing; 2) have the basic information to establish and conduct a routine testing program; and 3) effectively ensure the installation and performance of a SPECT system.
