AB This is the first article in a four-part series on interventional nuclear medicine. Upon completion, the nuclear medicine technologist should be able to (1) list the advantages of using interventional hepatic imaging, (2) identify the benefit in calculating HEF, and (3) utilize the HEF calculation method when appropriate.
