AB The use of tables derived from a computer program that insures conformity with certain quality control criteria is discussed in detail for Tc-99m labeled macroaggregated albumin (MAA). Conformity with designated criteria assures that a clinically optimal number of MAA-labeled particles will be administered for each radiopharmaceutical dose. Such ramifications as avoiding error, saving time, and reducing radiation exposure to the patient are discussed.
