AB We describe a standardized technique for performing joint scintigraphy. It consists of special patient positioning for imaging the sacroiliac, shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, knee, ankle, and toe joints. Special computer-assisted data processing for sacroiliac articulation, which results in a quantitative assessment, is also described.
