AB A 6-year-old Vietnamese girl was admitted with a 3-day history of rectal bleeding of unknown etiology. A [99mTc] pertechnetate abdomen scan was performed and revealed multiple areas of abnormal uptake in the small-bowel region. Subsequent upper gastrointestinal radiography studies revealed an infestation of Ascaris lumbricoides.
