AB A new bolus-injection system was developed to reduce radiation exposure to nuclear medicine personnel performing dynamic time-function studies, specifically first-pass nuclear cardiology studies. In comparing the new system with the old, two additional parameters were measured: the bolus flow rate characteristics, and the residual activity in the apparatus.
