AB An incident of personnel contamination with radioiodine prompted a re-examination of procedures for handling radioiodinated solutions. Previous experiences with the handling of radioiodine and a summary of the chemical behavior of iodine are provided and are used to formulate recommendations for the safe handling of radioiodinated materials.
