The fall meeting of the JRCNMT was held October 19–20, 2012, in Oklahoma City, OK. During this meeting, the board of directors considered 1 request for inactive status and approved voluntary withdrawal of accreditation from 2 programs due to closure.

## ACCREDITATION ACTIONS

Continued accreditation was granted to the following nuclear medicine technology programs:

*   University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR (conferred through 2014); progress report requested on standards B2.1a, E1.3, and E1.4

*   Gateway Community College, New Haven, CT (conferred through 2019)

*   St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL (conferred through 2017)

*   CMMC College of Nursing & Health Professions, Lewiston, ME (conferred through 2019)

*   The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD (conferred through 2017); progress report requested on standards B2.4 and D1.6

*   Forsyth Technical Community College, Winston-Salem, NC (conferred through 2017); progress report requested on standards D1.6 and D6

*   University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City, OK (conferred through 2019)

*   Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI (conferred through 2019)

*   Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA (conferred through 2017)

*   Kanawha Valley Community & Technical College, South Charleston, WV (conferred through 2019)

The following programs remain accredited but were placed on probation:

*   Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield, MA (conferred through 2013); progress report due on standards B2.1a, B2.5, E1.1, E1.3, and E1.4

*   Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA (conferred through 2013); progress report due on standards B2.1a, B4.1, C2.4g, D1.6, E1.3, E2.2, and F1.3

*   Methodist Healthcare, Memphis, TN (conferred through 2013); progress report due on standards F1.3, F1.6, and F1.8

The JRCNMT Board of Directors approved fee increases effective in 2014 and made multiple policy and procedure updates at their meeting. For complete information on these changes, refer to the December 2012 issue of the JRCNMT Newsletter, posted in the News section of the JRCNMT Web site.

The committee will review 18 nuclear medicine technology programs seeking continued accreditation in 2013. Written third-party testimony may be submitted to the JRCNMT regarding any nuclear medicine technology program undergoing review. Persons desiring to present third-party oral testimony at a board meeting must submit a written request. Third-party testimony, written and oral, must be limited to compliance of the educational program with the *Accreditation Standards for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Education.*
